Metrodate Review

Metrodate is designed to give single adults another option.  Rather than simply a collection of profiles, Metrodate is organized by city, offering a complete singles’ destination directory for each of the covered cities. Event listings, singles tour information, and even restaurant guides are available. It is possible to meet and correspond with singles living anywhere, but the site seems to be geared toward creating real-life dates rather than merely cyber encounters.

Metrodate offers several comprehensive tools that are designed to pave an easier path towards dating. One such tool is the matching service, which utilizes state of the art technology to match compatible members. Metrodate members may post voice messages on their profiles, in addition to the standard photos and written messages.

The Metrodate site also offers a chat room, which is fully accessible to both paid and free account holders. The chat room is a safe place to talk freely with a potential date, without giving out secure personal information.

The destination directories, chat room, voice posts, and other features give Metrodate a comfortable 'feel'. Singles congregate on the site, not just for romance but also for friendship. A city can feel large and impersonal, especially to a young single who may have just moved to town, and Metrodate can help make the city more accessible.  This site is highly recommended for young singles seeking both romance and friendship.

A free membership allows access to the chat room, as well as the ability to 'flirt' with up to 3 people per day.  Paid membership, at only $10 per month when bought in bulk, allows full use of the site, including unlimited messaging.  For those who are serious about using the site, the membership fee seems well worth the money.
